Paintless Dent Removal (PDR) is a technique of repairing the dents in your vehicle without using paint. There are 2 mains ways of removing dents:
Firstly, through the use of specialist tools means that we can remove dents from your car doors, guards, body panels, roof or bonnet. A dent removal technician has a set of metal bars each with different lengths, curves and shapes in order to aid the removal of the dent. A specialist light is used to show the depth of the dent this helps the technician to visualise where he needs to apply pressure and the direction of the flow of the dent so he knows what angle of application would work best.
Secondly, glue pulling is a technique used when there is no access to the back of the dent, small glue tabs are glued on the front of the dent and then pulled by glue pulling hammers. Both methods are used daily, and return your vehicle back to the factory finish that it started with!
The work that can be carried out is generally cheaper than your vehicle insurance excess and is the preferred method by insurance companies.
